An Irish Voice. A Global Audience.

Born and raised in the village of Foynes, County Limerick, Gearóid McCarthy is an Irish singer, musician and entertainer whose powerful vocals, unmistakable personality and heartfelt performances have captured the attention of audiences across the world.

Rooted in the rich traditions of Irish music, Gearóid has built a career that bridges generations, combining timeless Irish ballads, contemporary favourites and his own distinctive musical style.

What began as a passion for performing has grown into an extraordinary journey. Through social media, Gearóid has cultivated a global following of over one million, introducing Irish music and culture to audiences far beyond the shores of Ireland.

But it is on stage where Gearóid truly comes into his own.

Known for his commanding stage presence, natural humour and ability to connect with an audience, his performances offer far more than a concert. They are an experience filled with laughter, nostalgia, storytelling and moments that stay with people long after the final song.

From intimate venues to sold-out theatres, and from Ireland to international stages, Gearóid continues to bring his music to audiences at home and abroad.

Beyond his career as a performer, Gearóid is also the founder of Gearóid McCarthy Music Providers Ltd, a thriving Irish entertainment company that works with an extensive network of musicians and performers.

Despite his growing international success, his identity remains firmly rooted in where it all began: the people, stories and musical heritage of the west of Ireland.

Authentically Irish. Unapologetically himself. And only getting started.
